We have two beautiful new scarves on the website this week as part of the new 'French Collection'; 'The Paris Silk Scarf' and 'Vintage Jewellery silk scarf', perfect for a Mother's Day Gift.
The Paris scarf has hand drawn illustrations of the streets of Paris, including a patisserie, a shoe shop and a typical French style cafe. This scarf tells the tale of the romance of wondering down Paris backstreets exploring and discovering treasures on the way. This scarf comes in red or blue stripes complete with a cute mini Eiffel Tower charm.

The Official Brits after show party was a life size funfair, which included full sized dodgems, a helter skelter, fortune tellers, and so much more! There was also a Hackney Carriage complete with lots of different props to wear on the back seat that took pictures of you every few seconds- very amusing!
It was an absolutely fantastic evening and made us here at Yaelle very proud to be a British brand!

As Official Partners to The Brit Awards 2012 we were invited down on the evening to watch the show (which was incredible) and also to the after show party (just as incredible!)
All the nominees, winners and presenters received a YAELLE silk scarf along with other goodie bag treats such as a leather Coach tote bag, Agent Provocateur perfume and a French connection shopping spree.
Performances by Adele and Florence + The Machine were personal favourites and outfits worn by Jessie J and Rhianna we loved! Jessie J wore a beautiful bright red sheer gown by Indian designers Falguni & Shane Peacock. This is part of their SS campaign and the below image of the dress was shot in Los Angeles.
As ever Rihanna's performance of We Found Love complete with on stage paint fights was one to remember! Rihanna won Best International Artist which was well deserved.
Of course the Brits never finishes without some sort of drama! We all couldn't believe when James Corden had to ask Adele to stop her speech! We could see what was happening from our seats and felt sorry for poor James Corden who had to stop her! To the amusement of the crowd, Adele stuck her middle finger up at the 'suits' to a huge cheer from the audience. In consolation she did take home Brit Awards for Best British Album and Best British Female, well done Adele!
